Woe is the RSS Feed

Rather than leave subscribers wondering or frustrated, no, it’s not your newsreader. For the past two days there have been some RSS feed issues whereas full articles are not loading appropriately in some readers.

I’m working hard at figuring out this issue, which occurred after upgrading to WordPress 3.0. It was fixed, but only at one specific feed URL, until the copyright footer was put in place.

Sorry for the issue. I’ll post an update here once it’s fixed. And, if you’re a WordPress 3.0 / RSS feed guru and have any insight on this issue, I sure would appreciate anything you have to offer.

I have narrowed the problem down to a Plugin that incorporates copyright content and links in the footer. Unfortunately, I’ve tried other plugins as well and they all cause the full text to be cut to the summary.

Problem further fixed by using Excerpts instead of “more” tag.
