Wondering What webOS Can Do?
If you’ve ever encountered a Palm user, you may have experienced what some my call an obsession with devices, especially webOS. And, you’d be right. Call it a crusade against all other smartphones (again, you’d be right), but when it comes right down to it, Palm webOS users aren’t just committed to a company name – they’re committed to sharing the love of devices that work the way we want, they way they should.
And now there’s community videos to show you exactly what I mean.
An ad spot contest hosted by webOSroundup is in final stages, and there’s 15 great videos that not only show off what the Palm webOS can do, but just how well it allows third-party apps to plug right in, sans jailbreaking and sans uber-restrictions commonly set forth by other device manufacturers.
You can view all the cool videos right here, and while you’re at it, vote for your favorite!
Watch them closely, though, and you’ll notice just what I’m talking about – that Palm users are a committed group of people that not only love their devices, but love to share how they use them, what apps they run, and their confidence in developers continuing to provide necessary updates and improvements.
Is webOS perfect? No, and it never can be. But, by golly, it’s easy to use, opens it arms to developers and lets us function in both our business and personal lives quickly and efficiently. Rather than take my word for it, though, why don’t you hop over to webOSroundup and feel some of that down-t0-earth love for yourself.
