Finally You Can Save Facebook Content

Pressed for time? You can save content for later viewing.

It was long overdue, but Facebook has finally realized that both professionals and media fanatics only have 24 hours in the day. Facebook Save was introduced this week, allowing mobile users to save content for later viewing.

“Every day, people find all sorts of interesting items on Facebook that they don’t have time to explore right away,” wrote Daniel Giambalvo, a Facebook software engineer.

To save content, just click the down arrow to the right of a post and choose Save. The content will then be bookmarked to a Saved Links list, which is accessed by clicking the More tab on a smartphone, or by clicking the Saved list in the left column when navigating Facebook in a web browser.

If you don’t see this feature yet, don’t panic. It is being rolled out throughout the week. I actually don’t have it yet, and can’t wait because I’m tired to screenshotting posts so I can use a search to find them later.

To view saved links, click the tab in the left column (web browser) or access it by clicking More on a smartphone.

Have this feature yet? I’d love to hear your thoughts on it below.
