RetroPlanet.com: Retro Decor, Furniture, Toys & More

If you’re looking for anything retro, RetroPlanet.com probably has what you need. From the slinky and old-fashioned phones, to diner booths and vintage tableware, this site takes us down memory lane with thousands of products, an in-depth gallery and “remember-when” style blog.

I began working with RetroPlanet.com through DesignExtend.com many years ago, and I’ve never tired of the challenges because they carry an amazing line of products and are always open to new ideas.

With a recent design overall and addition of many features, including more social media rich content, RetroPlanet.com, while a small business, is easily becoming the source for even high-end customers. Recent features in national publications have helped them reach a much wider audience.

I love clients who know what they like, but more so, take the steps necessary to reach their goals. The folks at RetroPlanet.com rely on me for many things – but they also attend conferences and webinars to learn about technology that may be good for their business. For example, the owner recently returned from a conference excited about Nextopia’s site search functionality. So, we took time to research every aspect and determined it was a good fit. Soonafter the new site search was launched and so far it’s helping customers find products in more logical ways.

RetroPlanet.com has grown immensely over the past five years, and so have I. In fact, we’ve grown together. When technology or shopping habits change, we take time to discuss various options. Customer service is the key driving force behind this company, which is managed by “real people.” I really couldn’t ask for a better client: one who wants to grow, understands that everything on the Web is a risk, but, ultimately, wants to make their customers feel truly appreciated.

RetroPlanet.com uses Miva Merchant 5.5 as well as WordPress and Coppermine.
